Hope and a Future

Greetings!

This new year brings a new beginning! My husband, Sean, and I spend much of our time searching for vintage treasures and restoring them for a new purpose.  This blog is a new path that allows me to share our work with you and the lessons we are learning from this journey.  First, and most importantly, I want to share the Good News that God loves you and He has a plan for your life. He is teaching me, through our vintage business, A Mustard Seed...Faithfully Vintage, that His plan includes hope and prosperity.  This passion I have to treasure hunt, restore and re-purpose, is surely planted in me by the one that created me.  I am inspired by the work that God has done in my own life.  I am amazed that He saw me as treasure.  Even though I have had many times that I have felt far removed from His grace, He restored me and brought me to a place that allowed me the opportunity to be used by Him.  By finding a discarded piece of furniture or vintage piece and restoring it, I feel a bit of the joy our Creator must find in us!   I find that most of the pieces we find in our hunts are far from perfect.  It seems that these are the pieces that have the most appeal to me.  Perhaps, for me, it is the reminder that God sees beyond our imperfections and sees that we are valuable and useful for his Kingdom.   My prayer is that you know that God has a plan for you.  He will bless you with hope for the future. When you seek Him, you will prosper and He will keep you from harm.
Faithfully,

Holly

  1. Holly, Your restored furniture items are beautiful, but not as beautiful as the vessel that you are (which God is using to reach out and touch others through this blog). Let me just say, your words are very true and eloquent, and I needed to hear them tonight. Tonight, through your blog, God got my attention with something that has needed "spit-shined" in my life for a while. And now I get it! It makes sense to me now. It never ceases to amaze me how He works in our lives if we just let Him. I wish you and Sean the best in your endeavor.

  3. Hello Holly,
Thank you for your kind comments on my blog. Yes, you may use images from my blog, please just link back to my blog or if you're using items from the boutique, please link back there as well.

Thank you for the complement and kindness in asking permission. You may do the same w/Pinterest, just make sure it links back to me as well as sometimes credit gets lost there if copying from someone else's blog that has used my photography without permission.

Happy New Year ~ Bonne Année! You have a beautiful blog. Blessings to you this Sunday.
